The little girl and the winter Witch
For a client who doesn’t want to be mentioned here, I’ve made some drafts to illustrate the Bulgarian fairy tale “The Girl and the Winter Witch”.
After all, the project evolved in a different direction, but those drafts have led me to a new style – so I’d like to show them in here, even though they’re rather unfinished and I most likely won’t ever finish them properly.
The setting of the fairy tale is a tiny mountain village in Bulgaria. Therefore, I’ve researched Bulgarian national costumes and combined them with some more classical and historical elements.
