Ginnie and Winnie go Travelling (Landflucht)

First sketches for a comic I started for the topic of Landflucht (Rural flight) on the German-French Comic Workshop in Erlangen.

Unfortunately I couldn’t finish it, because without the tragical death of the two heroes, guinea pigs named Ginnie and Winnie in search of their identity, the story wouldn’t have made any sense. But while drawing this, I started to really like them…

Amazing enough, there are two real guinea pigs that are named after those two, and I already got to meet them!
