Ich freue mich sehr über meine Belege der Herbstausgabe der Zeitschrift »Waldstück«, dem kostenlosen Magazin der Niedersächsischen Landesforste! Für das Kinderposter, das als Beilage im Magazin eingeheftet ist, habe ich nun 16 Baumtriebe und Baumknospen gezeichnet, die hier von interessanten Informationen begleitet werden.

Lernposter, Schautafel oder Infografik zum Bestimmen der Knospen und Triebe heimischer Bäume wie Ahorn, Birke, Buche, Eberesche, Eiche, Erle, Esche, Hainbuche, Hasel, Kastanie, Kirsche, Linde, Pappel, Platane, Ulme und Weide auch im Winter erkennen und bestimmen lassen, für das Waldstück Magazin der Niedersächsischen Landesforsten

Vertreten sind Ahorn, Birke, Buche, Eberesche, Eiche, Erle, Esche, Hainbuche, Hasel, Kastanie, Kirsche, Linde, Pappel, Platane, Ulme und Weide – alle in Graustufen, damit man Details klarer erkennt. Nach Blattformen, Tierspuren, Vogelsilhouetten, Baumformen, Baumfrüchten, Waldtieren, Forstwerkzeugen und Wassertieren ist dies das neunte Mal, dass ich Infografiken für das »Waldstück« erstellt habe – und ich freue mich schon auf die Fortsetzung!

Herzlichen Dank an Christian Talla, der diese Poster (und das ganze Magazin) immer so liebevoll layoutet, und an Stephan Averbeck von den Niedersächsischen Landesforsten, der Themen und Gegenstände immer so sachkundig auswählt und korrigiert, für diese wunderbare, lehrreiche und unkomplizierte Zusammenarbeit!


Außerdem finde ich es großartig, dass die Landesforsten die freie weitere Verwendung meiner Motive befürworten – und deshalb gibt es bald auch ein neues Poster bei der Posterlounge, in meinem eigenen, einfachen Retro-Schul-Layout und passend zu meinen bereits dort verkauften Blattformen, Tierspuren, Vogelsilhouetten und Baumfrüchten.

WWF Junior just published the article “War das eine Katze? Geh doch mal auf Spurensuche!” (“Was that a cat? Go out to read tracks!”) by professional trackreader Stefanie Argow – with one of the track illustrations she and I are creating in cooperation right now! Here, it’s the lynx, which can be mistaken for a cat or a lion, depending on its size.

Christian Talla, who edits the posters so lovingly, brought them to Din A2 format.

Finger Alphabet for Eltern Family in DB Mobil

My very simple two-handed Finger Alphabet has been part of the last April issue of the »Eltern Family« magazine – and now I am happy to announce that, thanks to a cooperation, it will also be presented on the online family pages of Deutsche Bahn, under the title »Geheimsprache als Zeitvertreib« (»Cipher Language as a Pastime«). Now I wonder if on my next train journey, I will see children using my grandmother’s very own hand alphabet?!

I just finished three more illustrations for the Wuppertaler Stadsparkasse! This time, the little house I illustrated a couple of months ago as a foldable model (and descriptional aid on renovating or refurbishing a house for the consultants) was supposed to be shown as part of a questionaire for personal financing concepts. Plus the Schmidt family, that lives in the house, and a money bag as a symbol for their own funds.

I just finished illustrating the outside of a collapsible cardboard house (ca. 20 x 20 cm) for the Wuppertaler Stadsparkasse. This little house will be used to describe renovations and refurbishings of an old house, and why those make sense. It has an old, unrefurbished side and another that is all new and shiny, fully refurbished, and both contain typical details.

The Niedersächsischen Landesforsten, for whose »Waldstück« magazine I’ve drawn several identification sheets, decided to publish four posters with tree leaves, animal tracks, bird flights and tree silhouettes for usage in their forest centres! Christian Talla, who edits the posters so lovingly, brought them to Din A2 format.

Finger Alphabet for Eltern Family in DB Mobil

My very simple two-handed Finger Alphabet has been part of the last April issue of the »Eltern Family« magazine – and now I am happy to announce that, thanks to a cooperation, it will also be presented on the online family pages of Deutsche Bahn, under the title »Geheimsprache als Zeitvertreib« (»Cipher Language as a Pastime«). Now I wonder if on my next train journey, I will see children using my grandmother’s very own hand alphabet?!

I reworked the 25 living-the-wild ones of my 36 Animal Tracks for a children’s poster, which contains not only the tracks, but also lots of interesting information and stories about each of them.

I just finished three more illustrations for the Wuppertaler Stadsparkasse! This time, the little house I illustrated a couple of months ago as a foldable model (and descriptional aid on renovating or refurbishing a house for the consultants) was supposed to be shown as part of a questionaire for personal financing concepts. Plus the Schmidt family, that lives in the house, and a money bag as a symbol for their own funds.

I just finished illustrating the outside of a collapsible cardboard house (ca. 20 x 20 cm) for the Wuppertaler Stadsparkasse. This little house will be used to describe renovations and refurbishings of an old house, and why those make sense. It has an old, unrefurbished side and another that is all new and shiny, fully refurbished, and both contain typical details.
