I reworked my secretary for an invitation card by Technische Universität Berlin. The slogan for a seminar program for administration staff, “All threads in hand!”, is “Are you still typing, or are you managing already?”. ➔
For a client who doesn’t want to be mentioned, I’ve made some drafts to illustrate the Bulgarian fairy tale “The little Girl and the Winter Whirlwinds”. The project evolved in a different direction, but those drafts have led me to a new style – so I’d like to show them, even though they are unfinished and I most likely won’t finish them properly. ➔

So, this is my design for the younger, more trendy and astonishingly colourful Cristalite series: Three friends take a break from shopping, chat, drink coffee and eat pastel coloured cupackes in a street café. ➔

I’ll take part in this years sedcard campaign by the Illustratoren Organsation again, in the advertising department. The card will be sent out by IO and also available at all the fairs, exhibitions and events the IO participates. On my card you can see one of my all-time favourites: the supergirl I developped, illustrated and designed as 11 colourful panels for the jewellery chain SIX in cooperation with Hochhaus agency. The Sixgirl is used in various ways, for advertising and decoration. ➔
For the Frankfurt book fair in October, we made some fancy new postcards to advertise our new Lily Lux Notizbuch! They have the famous pattern and two lucky cats on the front and a nice extra stamp on the back… and you can use them for lovely lucky greetings or just for your own delight. ➔
I’ve been wondering for a pretty long time how animated gifs might work e.g. how they are made, and I found out today! I usually need a reason to work such things out, and I had a good one: making banners for Lily Lux and the idea that a waving lucky cat and twinkling matryoshka dolls would be even nicer than just showing their pictures.
After all, making the tiny animations was much easier than expected, plus a lot of fun. You just have to be careful not to get hynotized… ➔

For the Frankfurt Book Fair in October, we made some magnetic cards (7,2 x 10,2 cm) as advertising materials for Lily Lux – for happy fridges (and other magnetic surfaces), for fall anticipation, for some more Lily Lux in everyday life, and especially for holding little papers with important notes. Just as Lily herself likes to do. ➔
Last winter, I illustrated a fragrance gift set package in cooperation with Neil Davis Design New York for Parfums de Coeur, which will bei available soon at Walmart USA. And here are my illustrations from all around the package! ➔

I reworked Literatina‘s face: I removed the noseline (it was getting time to get rid of this), and there were some more minor changes. Plus, I designed some fresh banners for Literatina and keep working on some more pretty products. ➔

Literatina is a contemporary character for reading in general and in special: intelligent and intellectual, but at the same time pretty and even sexy: Literatina reads out of curiosity and not out of boredom. ➔
The lifesize stand-up display Pearlie Mae was presented on October 6th, 2006 in Frankfurt: As in interlude of the VIP premiere of ‘The devil wears Prada’ at Kinopalast Metropol, the Label Suite did stage an amazing fashion show, and we all had an awesome evening!
