I just finished numerous illustrations for the book »Balkantherapie« by the charming, smart, incredibly funny and simply great actress, singer, photographer and author Mimi Fiedler, which I’ve enthusiastically been drawing the past couple of weeks, as commissioned by the Münchner Verlagsgesellschaft. ➔

Stadtsparkasse | Mastercard for Uni Wuppertal
This is the mastercard I illustrated, as commissioned by the Stadtsparkasse Wuppertal, with the main buildings of the Bergisch University (BUGH) and which will soon be available to students and staff in ten different colour schemes. In the pictures you can see several mock-ups with all colours, imprints, embossings and chip. ➔
Stadtsparkasse Wuppertal | Grifflenberg
Once again, I’ve been drawing for the Wuppertaler Stadtsparkasse, this time a black-and-white view of the buildings of the University of Wuppertal (BUGH) on Grifflenberg. My illustration will soon be printed in ten different colour schemes on the front of a special mastercard for students and staff of the university. For this project, I had to work very different from my usual process – not only without outlines, but also without people, details or colours, but precisely after a photograph, with correct perspectives – and it actually was a challenge, but a lot of fun as well!
Questionnaire for Stadtsparkasse Wuppertal
I just finished three more illustrations for the Wuppertaler Stadsparkasse! This time, the little house I illustrated a couple of months ago as a foldable model (and descriptional aid on renovating or refurbishing a house for the consultants) was supposed to be shown as part of a questionaire for personal financing concepts. Plus the Schmidt family, that lives in the house, and a money bag as a symbol for their own funds. ➔

A foldable little house for the Stadtsparkasse
I just finished illustrating the outside of a collapsible cardboard house (ca. 20 x 20 cm) for the Wuppertaler Stadsparkasse. This little house will be used to describe renovations and refurbishings of an old house, and why those make sense. It has an old, unrefurbished side and another that is all new and shiny, fully refurbished, and both contain typical details. ➔

It’s a great pleasure for me to introduce you to my Queen of Hearts! I illustrated and designed this card for the amazing “52 Aces Reloaded” poker deck by Zeixs – Books for Designers which will be published later this year. I look very much forward to that! Right now, Zeixs are showing a preview of the cards on Facebook, and it’s exciting to see this fantastic deck grow with different styles. ➔
Graphic Design for Lily Lux Notizbuch | Small Maps
I love drawing maps, remembering discovered places and invent places that are undiscovered, but follow their own little logic… and it was great to be reminded of that by working on the “Lily Lux Notizbuch” (of the invented places – I gave parts of my actual existing maps to Lily Lux for the hotel scene in the book “Die wunderbare Welt der Lily Lux”…). And publishing this might be an inspiration for me to show some private map sketches? And to draw some more, someplace, soon. ➔
