Celebration | Happy Valentine’s Day!
In celebration of the day, we renewed parts of Lily Lux’ electronical greetings! Next to our seasonal pictures from the books and several animated gifs, you can now find some fresh pictures for Valentine’s (including marzipane hearts and Lily’s heart shaped hot water bottle that says “Everything is gonna be okay”), for snowdrop joy and even for spring fever… we’re changing those cards every few weeks now, so you’re welcome to check back!
Wedding Design
This was one of my favourite graphic commissions those past few months: A full wedding design including a logo (in which every tiny detail has a particular, very personal reason), CI, stamps and seals (all of this not only for the big day, but also for all sorts of everyday purposes lateron) and, of course, all the stationary from save-the-date to invitation (with a little map and RSVPs) and thank you cards – all that for a very special couple I had the pleasure to get to know a lot better through this really nice project. Thank you very much for that! ➔

I first thought I was hallucinating when I discovered the mockup cover of the Zeixs Cube “Magazine & Book Design” (Attention, this book isn’t available in stores (yet)!), admittedly at third sight – I am still stunned about this nice surprise of seeing our Lily in such an unexpected place… ➔
Fivehundred posts – and we’re going bilingual!
We almost missed it: I already published 500 posts in this blog (the exact N° 500 was the Queen of Hearts !)! This is going to be celebrated, with our favourite guest Lux (as seen above), a little cake for us you, and a chocolate heart box as a thank you for reading and commenting!
Haphazardly, the big 500 coincides with the new bilinguality (see right above, there’s or new language switch!) of this blog. Most of the 500 posts are hand-translated now, only reviews and language specific things remain in their original language. If you’d really like to read them, you’re welcome to try your luck with automatic translations :)
Celebration | February 29th
Today is the day that happens only every four years! And we celebrate that with raspberry cheesecake (four candles, one for each year in between) and snowdrops. Plus, there’s Hina-Matsuri (雛祭り), the grand girl’s festivity, in Japan on March 3rd and we’ll celebrate on Facebook. ➔

We felt honoured to be invited to take part in the Illustrie’s advent calendar projekt, and we are very happy about our own star on their “Walk of Art & Fame”!!!
The advent calendar project is all about the awesome Mr. Sven Elch, employee of the “Santa & Sons” company, and his very special adventures in the advent season… the Illustrie made a hilarious advent calendar app for iPhone und iPad from this.

Celebrations with Lily Lux | Every day a holiday
On Lily Lux’ index page, we now installed a little daily calendar that shows all or favourite annual holidays, days of action and memorials*. And we sometime announce them on Facebook as well, and somtimes we have little online celebrations. Today, for example, it’s the most wonderful “It’s gonna be alright”-day, one of our all-time favourites. And in the past weeks, we had a shoting star day, a book lovers day, a day of aunts and uncles, dog day, kissing day, chocolate day and star celebratiosn (at the same day, isn’t that beautiful?), the day of the tree and – last but not least! – raspberry cake day.

Fivehundred posts – and we’re going bilingual!
We almost missed it: I already published 500 posts in this blog (the exact N° 500 was the Queen of Hearts !)! This is going to be celebrated, with our favourite guest Lux (as seen above), a little cake for us you, and a chocolate heart box as a thank you for reading and commenting!
Haphazardly, the big 500 coincides with the new bilinguality (see right above, there’s or new language switch!) of this blog. Most of the 500 posts are hand-translated now, only reviews and language specific things remain in their original language. If you’d really like to read them, you’re welcome to try your luck with automatic translations :)
Celebration | February 29th
Today is the day that happens only every four years! And we celebrate that with raspberry cheesecake (four candles, one for each year in between) and snowdrops. Plus, there’s Hina-Matsuri (雛祭り), the grand girl’s festivity, in Japan on March 3rd and we’ll celebrate on Facebook. ➔

Celebrations with Lily Lux | Every day a holiday
On Lily Lux’ index page, we now installed a little daily calendar that shows all or favourite annual holidays, days of action and memorials*. And we sometime announce them on Facebook as well, and somtimes we have little online celebrations. Today, for example, it’s the most wonderful “It’s gonna be alright”-day, one of our all-time favourites. And in the past weeks, we had a shoting star day, a book lovers day, a day of aunts and uncles, dog day, kissing day, chocolate day and star celebratiosn (at the same day, isn’t that beautiful?), the day of the tree and – last but not least! – raspberry cake day.
