A couple of years ago, I created a colouring sheet for the wonderful Malbogen Blog, right after a storm almost stole my scarf and when Lily Lux was longing for new adventures The special thing about it is that it can not only be used for colouring in, but due to some open space, you can even draw your own ideas! Illustratoren Organisation at the Book Fair
My professional association, the Illustratoren Organisation IO e.V., represents is members again at the Frankfurt book fair this October – with Sedbooks, Sedcards and an endless projection of pictures! We felt honoured to be invited to take part in the Illustrie’s advent calendar projekt, and we are very happy about our own star on their “Walk of Art & Fame”!!!
The advent calendar project is all about the awesome Mr. Sven Elch, employee of the “Santa & Sons” company, and his very special adventures in the advent season… the Illustrie made a hilarious advent calendar app for iPhone und iPad from this.

May I introduce? The great Wild West anthology “Hugh! Winnetou” that was published in celebration of the Peng!-award to Helmut Nickel as father of the Winnetou comics in June 2011 at Edition 52, with our dear Lily Lux, but as well some other awesome contributions really worth to look at and to read! I really like the diversity of approaches in the book, and how different childhood memories of the same thing (e.g. hero) can be!

I just uploaded some of the sketches I made for Lily Lux’ little discovery journey to the Wild West – I liked this one in particular, but in the end travelling without leaving the room seemed to fit the subject Winnetou e.g. his genesis much better. ➔
Hugh! Winnetou | Characters and Details
Here is everything collected you need for a real fun Wild West adventure: the dauntless blood brothers, the sleepy sheriff, the friendly and peaceful settlers, some beautiful native handicrafts, the very serious chief (shown with a totem), lots of exciting books, a malicious bandit, bows and arrows and tomahawks, a herd of wild and brash buffaloes, a little, non-smoky camp fire, a graceful unblinking squaw and a lovely couraged settler girl (riding and shooting like a devil, unfortunately not pictured), the totem (or stake, just like needed), the three smart trappers (wenn ich mich nicht irre, hihihi), the terribly dangerous grizzly, and the cactuses in the ready… and, for sure, a brand spanking new railroad track. ➔

Our travelling Notizbuch is on the road again, with its very own Travelbug! Also, our lovingly designed Cache has been found quite a few times lately, so it seems like spring is really there now… We’re very delighted about that, wish great fun to all geocachers for this season and are excited how the journey of our book continues!

Geocaching with Lily Lux | Travelbug and Notizbuch
Thanks to the friendly enquiry from Alberti, we discovered the wonderful online treasure hunt of Geocaching and could infect Lily Lux with enthusiasm. So we didn’t just design a little puzzle, but as well – and we think that’s particularly exciting and wonderful – we sent a Lily Lux Notizbuch as Travelbug out to travel the world. ➔

For the Frankfurt Book Fair in October, we made some magnetic cards (7,2 x 10,2 cm) as advertising materials for Lily Lux – for happy fridges (and other magnetic surfaces), for fall anticipation, for some more Lily Lux in everyday life, and especially for holding little papers with important notes.
