For the project Kurze Wege (Short Paths) of the Protestant Youth in Wunstorf, I revised my Useful Knots and created a postcard from them, which was sent to the supporters of the project together with a piece of rope – in order to “create connections” in this way, which I think is an extremely neat idea!
In this infographic, overview, chart, instructions or tutorial, twelve knots that are practical in everyday life are shown, namely Pretzelknot (simple knot), Entachtknot (slipknot), Bowline (fixed loop), Carpenter’s sling (holding sling for loads), Slipstek (pull-up slack), Webeleinstek (rope middle knot), Kreuzknoten (rope connection knot), Schotstek (rope connection knot), Halbschlag (simple guide knot), Einfachschlinge (holding loop), Stopperstek (clamp knot) and Klöppelknoten (rope connection knot)! With the help of informative graphics, all these knots can be easily recreated.
Many thanks to Mr. Kuckuck for this really nice, uncomplicated cooperation!
