»This mask has become Clare’s favourite. It sits up nice and high across her nose and cheeks, so that her glasses hold it flat to her face and there’s no warm breath escaping out the top to fog them up. No nose wire. The pattern is by Iris Luckhaus. She has a number of variations of what she calls the Hybrid face mask. (…) The ones that I have been sewing are called the Hybrid Nose2 mask (…). I like this one as it comes up higher on the nose rather than sitting on the tip of it – but like all masks, it really is each to their own. Another thing variation. I have been making the adjustable ear loop with lanyard as learned from the Tom Binh V3 design. I cross the lanyard and loop it around my forehead to make it snug up.
Thank you for your comment (and even more so for your kind donation, which really brightened my day!!! :)), dear Rachel! I’m not a huge fan of lanyards, as they are all too iniviting to carry a possibly contaminated mask around your neck (which is not a safe practice), but this sounds like you actually use your lanyards well! I’d love to see how that looks :)
