We’d like to wish you very lovely, candle-lit and heartwarming holidays (and a merry Christmas, or whatever you may be celebrating!), and all the best for a truly happy, healthy and wonderful new year Twothousandtwentyone!
This year, Lily Lux celebrates with the forest animals again! On her sledge and in her picnic basket, she has bird food balls and rings, pine cones and apples for deer, fox, marten, otter, raccoon, badger, dormouse, mouse, squirrel, hedgehog, falcon, magpie, woodpecker, jay, blackbird, sparrow, robin, tit, goldfinch, bullfinch and wren as well as some gifts, santas and cookies for her human friends (the gifts will simply be delivered at their doorsteps this year!), plus a whole lot of lucky clover for the new year! The animals are already decorating and stealing bites, while Lily is practicing Yoga amidst – and insists that everything will be fine (or at least better) very soon…
Next to my traditional card, I’ve drawn another version – especially for the mask makers (and particularly the volunteers) from all over the world, whom I’ve met since I first published my hybrid mask pattern in April, and who brightened this strange passing year for me with all their kindness, their appreciation and their will to help others!
If you like, feel free to look at a collection of my favourite old and new christmas cards in the portfolio section! Furthermore, you can check out all my christmas-themed illustrations and projects in the blog. – Enjoy!
