Gerti, the DIY dressup doll I designed, styled and illustrated as stamps and dies for the online shop Charlie & Paulchen, just got her third set of clothes and accessories for the summer! The fresh set is called »Gerti geht baden« (Gerti takes a bath), and it contains everything you need for a lovely day full of fun by the sea or by the lake!
The Gerti base doll is sold seperately, and she can be dressed either with the matching seasonal sets by Charlie & Paulchen or with designs of your very own! The single pieces are first stamped onto paper, cardboard, fabric or any other flat material (!) and then cut out properly and easily with a set of perfectly matching dies.
The summer set »Gerti geht baden« consists of 12 pieces, such as a nice little retro bathing suit, a bandana, peeptoe shoes, large sunglasses, a tote bag plus several flowers and bows for decoration.
All pieces can be combined freely – and you can add ribbons, knitware, backgrounds or ephemera, to dress Gerti always different, and to tell all her exciting adventures! Furthermore, the pieces are combinable with our fall set »Gerti geht Gassi« (Gerti walks the dog) and our winter set »Gerti feiert Weihnachten« (Gerti celebrates Christmas):
With the help of those stamps and dies, which are available via Charlie & Paulchen‘s online shop by April 1st, unique cards with all sorts of various materials and your very own storytelling can be crafted!
Big thanks to Stephanie Gremm for yet another truly wonderful and absolutely inspiring cooperation!
