Gerti, the DIY dressup doll I designed, styled and illustrated as stamps and dies for the online shop Charlie & Paulchen, just got new clothes and accessories for the winter! The fresh set is called “Gerti feiert Weihnachten” (Gerti celebrates Christmas) and contains elements of winter, snow sports and christmas, so Gerti is ready for many winter joys!
The Gerti base doll is sold seperately, and she can be dressed either with the matching seasonal sets by Charlie & Paulchen or with designs of your very own! The single pieces are first stamped onto paper, cardboard, fabric or any other flat material (!) and then cut out properly and easily with a set of perfectly matching dies.
The winter set “”Gerti feiert Weihnachten” (Gerti celebrates Christmas) consists of 22 pieces, such as such as a nice cosy jacket, comfortable trousers, boots, some old-fashioned ice skates, a sledge, a wild squirrel, angel wings and a halo, three freely combinable gift parcels with bows, and two twinkling stars! So, what is your Gerti up to today?
All those pieces can be combined freely – and you can even add ribbons, knitware, backgrounds, ephemera or whatever else, to dress Gerti always new and different, and to tell all the exciting adventures she experiences this winter! Furthermore, the pieces are perfectly combinable with our fall set “Gerti geht Gassi” (Gerti walks the dog):
With the help of those stamps and dies, which are available via Charlie & Paulchen‘s online shop by December 1st, unique cards with all sorts of various materials and your very own storytelling can be crafted!
Big thanks to Stephanie Gremm for this wonderful and absolutely inspiring cooperation!
