For Charlie & Paulchen, an online shop for finest German stamps and dies, I designed the DIY dressup doll Gerti, as well as some seasonal outfits for her! With stamps, dies and various materials, Gerti can be crafted onto cards.
The Gerti base doll is sold seperately, and she can be dressed either with the matching seasonal sets by Charlie & Paulchen or with designs of your very own! The single pieces are first stamped onto paper, cardboard, fabric or any other flat material (!) and then cut out properly and easily with a set of perfectly matching dies.
The fall set “Gerti geht Gassi” (Gerti walks the dog) consists of 24 pieces, such as stamps and dies for pullover, jeans, rubber boots, raincoat, southwester hat, handbag, umbrella with closed and open roof, a dog’s cape and some versatile accessories like belt, pockets, trimmings and even a little bow, which you are free to place wherever you please.
All those pieces can be combined freely – and you can even add ribbons, backgrounds, ephemera or whatever else, to dress Gerti always new and different, and to tell all the exciting adventures she experiences this fall!
Under her little coat, Gerti wears classic jeans and a pullover. For the umbrella, there is an opened and a closed version, so that Gerti is well equipped for indoors and outdoors adventures, and for all sorts of weathers!
With the help of those stamps and dies, which are available via Charlie & Paulchen‘s online shop from September 23rd, unique cards with all sorts of various materials and storytelling can be crafted!
